Safeguarding Learners Policy

We are committed to doing everything within our power to ensure the safety of all young people and vulnerable clients who enrol in our CPD activities.
This policy shows our clear commitment to protecting all learners and creating a safe, supportive environment.

1. Purpose

This policy is designed to:

- Protect young people and vulnerable clients from harm, abuse, or exploitation
- Guide our staff, trainers, and volunteers on their safeguarding responsibilities
- Ensure our learning environment is safe, welcoming, and supportive
- Respect the privacy and data protection rights of our audience
- Promote inclusivity by ensuring our marketing reflects the diverse communities we serve
- Avoid any marketing practices that could be considered exploitative, discriminatory, or offensive

2. Our Commitment

We will:

Take reasonable steps to keep all learners safe

Make safeguarding a priority in all our activities

Ensure staff and trainers understand and follow safeguarding procedures

Respond promptly to any safeguarding concerns.

3. Reporting Safeguarding Concerns

If any learner feels unsafe or if anyone has concerns about a learner’s safety, it must be reported immediately to our Designated Safeguarding Officer or a senior member of staff.

All concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively.

4. Monitoring and Review

We regularly review our safeguarding practices to ensure we meet legal standards and provide the best support for our learners.
