EFT Tapping For Energy
EFT Tapping For Energy
In this article, you'll learn about what energy is, how energy flows through our bodies, the possible factors that affect the body's energy flow, and how you can work on it using EFT Tapping Therapy which is an effective alternative therapy to increase your energy.
Are you feeling low on energy? Irritable or even perhaps tired?
Have you had days when you just felt too exhausted and the simplest chores felt like Hercules' tasks? Or perhaps, the silliest stuff got on your nerves? You might have also felt like all your energy reservoirs have drained out and you just lack the strength to pull yourself together.
One of the reasons for this could be having little to no energy in the physical body. What we understand by the word 'energy' is the very strength and vitality that is required for sustained mental and physical activity. Or else we would be almost inanimate, static and lifeless.
Knowing how the lack of energy can impact our systems and the ways by which we can subvert it might as well be called a preemptive strike on our ends to keep ourselves going.
We better begin by understanding what energy is and what factors lead to us feeling the lack of it.
What exactly does it mean to be energetic? Consider how you feel when you first wake up in the morning. If you have a lot of energy, it suggests you're awake, ready to go, and capable of getting things done during the day.
You may not feel like getting out of bed, moving around, or doing the things you need to do if you don't have any energy (maybe because you didn't get your eight hours of sleep).

WHAT IS ENERGY?
So there was this concept called "energy" that made sense the first few times I learned about science. Electricity, heat, and kinetic movement are all distinct expressions of the same phenomenon. But the farther I go into it, the more profound the concept of energy becomes.
Energy, in general, refers to a concept that can be translated as "the potential for generating changes," and hence, can be said to be the source of any change.
The most popular definition of energy is the amount of work that a given force can accomplish.
Energy comes in a multitude of forms (gravitational, electric, heat, and so on) that can be divided into two categories: kinetic energy and potential energy.
According to ideas relating to the universal energy field, energy is present in all matter and psychological processes, including thoughts, emotions, ideas, and attitudes. Every atom, molecule, cell, tissue, and biological system in the human body is made up of energy (1).
The river of life power that pervades the universe pulses through every living creature. Life is a constant motion. There is discomfort when this movement is disrupted. Illness or irregular function are caused by an excessive, insufficient, or obstructed energy flow. As a result, a healthy energy flow is promoted.

HOW DOES ENERGY FLOW IN OUR BODY?
The movement of energy through our bodies is a fascinating phenomenon about which we know little.
A study published in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) (2) shows that healing and recovery require more than just medication and human biology.
Mental, emotional, and spiritual elements of ourselves are as important, and they can influence how effective other therapies are. That is the strength of our energy.
The truth is that we are all affected by the energy that surrounds us, whether it be radio waves or energy from nature or other people. We do, however, generate and store energy, which affects our health, ability to interact, and much more.
The chakra system is a system of energy centres in our bodies that every one of us has. In the following article, we'll look at what the chakra system is and why it's so significant.
Because the 7 chakras do not exist in isolation, we must first grasp the energy infrastructure of your body before we can truly comprehend the chakra system. They're a component of a larger system of subtle energy that you have inside of you.
So, first and foremost, you have a physical body. If you consider your actual body, you'll notice that you have veins and arteries, as well as nerves and organs, all of which carry blood.
So far, everything seems to be going well? This is where the chakra system comes into the picture.
What exactly are the chakras, and how do they function?
Chakras are intertwined and connected energy centres located throughout our bodies. In the modern chakra system, there are 114 chakras scattered throughout the body, with seven major ones positioned along the spine. The Root Chakra is positioned on the coccyx, and the Crown Chakra is located on the very top of our head.
The chakra system has seven energy centres:
- Root Chakra
- Sacral Chakra
- Solar Plexus Chakra
- Heart Chakra
- Throat Chakra
- Third Eye Chakra
- Crown Chakra
All of these chakras are interlinked and linked to different aspects of ourselves that show up in our behaviour, thoughts, and emotions. Our energy centres have the ability to receive, store, and transmit energy. This is critical not only for our own growth and awareness, but also for our survival as humans.
Chakras help us navigate the visible and invisible worlds by guiding our conscious and subconscious minds. They each have their own frequency and vibrational sensitivity. We absorb energetic information from the outer world through them, release energy, and send forth vibrations that others can recognise as our own pattern or vibe.
The chakra system can easily be described as our inner compass and guide for navigating life and interacting with everyone and everything around us. Whatever energy travels through and remains in a chakra manifests in some way.
How does energy flow through these chakras?
The chakra system corresponds to the body's twelve major meridians. These meridians, like the chakras, run the length of the spine. They are linked to our nervous system and represent six feminine and six masculine points in our bodies, all of which are involved in energetic exchange and distribution.
This is what a reiki practitioner or holistic healer means when they deal with our energy centres to unblock them. Chakras are our body's principal energy receptors, transmitting energy to these twelve critical places in our body and dispersing it throughout our entire energy system.
There must be transmission routes for energy to go from chakra centres to meridians, and these are known as nadis. These nadis, or energetic channels, transport energy.
Chakras, meridians, and nadis work together to generate our energy field, or vibrational imprint. Nadis are responsible for energy circulation, much as blood arteries are important for blood circulation.
These are the pathways via which Prana, our life force energy, runs throughout our entire existence (3).
Now that you have a greater grasp of the chakra system and how energy moves throughout your body, you can see how important our decisions and lifestyle habits are to our mental, physical, and spiritual health.
FACTORS AFFECTING THE BODY'S ENERGY FLOW
Many conditions and factors may have an impact on your body's energy from time to time. The energy flow in your body is influenced by three primary groups of factors: homoeostatic, environmental, and behavioural processes (4).
- Stress: A stressful event, whether it's physical, like an impending work deadline, or psychological, like constant fear about losing a job, can set off a cascade of stress hormones that cause well-coordinated physiological changes. Negative energy is released as a result of stress, which is damaging to the body. It can make you feel hopeless and dreadful, which disrupts your body's energy flow.
- Anxiety: One of the most prominent causes of anxiety is the accumulation of unreleased energy. The heart rate and blood circulation throughout the body may be affected. It can deplete your body's energy, resulting in physical and emotional discomfort.
- Physical activity: Exercises and physical activities build muscle mass and crank up your metabolic engines, which burn kilojoules more quickly even while you're at rest. This improves the flow of energy in our bodies in a positive way.
- Illness: To recover from an illness, all of our energy requirements rise in order to work through it, which may disrupt our bodies' energy flow.
- Hormonal factors: Hormonal abnormalities like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism can wreak havoc on your energy flow.
- Environmental factors: Increased heat or cold requires the body to work harder to maintain its normal temperature, resulting in an increase in the energy flow.
- Drugs and alcohol: Caffeine, nicotine or alcohol can affect your energy levels, making you feel good or bad.
In today's world, there is also a lot of focus given to performing arts, dance and sports.
Nurses and Doctors also may have to stay on their toes all day long and not having enough energy can be a big cause for concern.
Other than physical activities, negative emotions such as anger, emotional pain, hurt, sadness and unforgiveness can also drain whatever energy is left within a person.
Also, most people do not have time to cook and prefer getting a take-out or ordering food from an outside cafeteria or eatery to manage their dietary needs.
Eating unhealthy junk food also affects energy levels greatly.
Here, a very simple yet impactful technique comes into the picture. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping) is a mind-body technique which helps to increase energy levels by discovering the root cause of the emotions that are suppressing the energy and working on it.
One method of finding out what your pattern is, is by using Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT). EFT Tapping gets to the base of the root cause of whatever is disturbing you, or whatever is holding you back, and makes you feel better by working on it or removing it.
For those new to EFT, it is also known as Tapping Therapy, which combines tapping on acupressure points while saying statements out loud to accept situations.

EFT TAPPING TO INCREASE ENERGY REGULATION
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an approach to helping people overcome physical, emotional, and mental problems. It also aids in a more efficient flow of energy throughout your body. It has been proven to be effective and long-lasting. At the same time, implementation requires relatively little time.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) not only helps to eliminate unwanted emotions, but also helps in maintaining high energy levels at all times.
To get started and boost your energy, just tap along with the Tapping sequence below.
- Karate Chop: Even though I feel low sometimes, I feel like I have low energy and I get very tired. I deeply and completely love and accept myself. (3 times)
Top Of The Head: I'm open to feeling alive now. - Eyebrow: Suppose somehow I could feel awake now.
- Temple: What if I could feel so alive now?
- Under the eye: What if with every breathe I could feel every single cell in my body, which is getting filled with so much energy.
Breathe in and out.
- Under the nose: Suppose somehow every single cell in my body could be vibrating now with a new energy.
- Chin: Feeling so much vitality, breathe in and out.
- Collarbone: What if I felt energised now.
With both your hand tap on your collarbone, and breathe in and out. (Do it thrice)
Go ahead and stand up now and just tap your feet on the ground, tapping on your collarbone at the same time. Breathe in and out.
Place both your hand on your heart, just close your eyes and feel the movement of the energy within. Notice what the energy on the inside feels like, vibrating and scintillating. As you breathe into your heart, allowing yourself to breathe in and out.
- Closing Sequence (Karate Chop): Even though I was self-sabotaging, that was then and this is now, I am grateful for becoming my best friend and being empowered. I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Just take a moment and go within knowing with every breath you take in, you're feeling more and more refreshed and when that is completely complete for you, you can open your eyes, breathe in and breathe out.
Take a sip of water after completing the tapping procedure and you'll feel much better and light.
Energy comes from a source (the Divine). We, like the planets in our solar system, have a one-of-a-kind blueprint. Everything in our environment, including inanimate objects, ideas, words, and emotions, has its own vibration and has its own impact on the environment.
Everything happens for a reason, and the same is true when we share energy with people. Energy is a very important part of life, considering the stress and the everyday rigmarole in life.
For most people, life has become a constant battle, when trying to complete even everyday tasks.
Considering the sedentary lifestyle and the increase of stress even in everyday work, it is imperative to have high energy at all times to balance overall health and vitality.
I truly hope that you've enjoyed this tapping sequence and boosted your energy. Do forward this special Tapping Sequence to your friends and family members.
We are so much more than our bodily selves. We are basically energy. Let's preserve and embrace this energy.
Love,
Dr Rangana Rupavi Choudhuri (PhD)
