- As a member of the VLC alumni you agree to follow the VLC Code of conduct and keep up to date with any continuing professional development and supervision requirements.
- You confirm that any work submitted is your original work and give VLC full permission to publish your article online, offline, on the web, in print and in social media.
- We may share submissions on any of the VLC social media platforms and tag you when we share your article on the social media platforms.
- You also give us permission to translate your work into other languages. Please note that the translations of your writing may not be literal.
- You also give us permission to proofread, edit and update your article to make it even more attractive to audiences and include search terms for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) so your article can be found easily. We will share the final edited article with you at the time of publication.
- All the submitted articles are checked for plagiarism and will be rejected if found to be copied from other sources without due attribution. Plagiarism refers to intentional copying of others’ work without proper attribution, or the copying of content without providing appropriate references.
- In the event the articles uses any accounts of your clients, make sure that prior permission has been secured to share the information to members of the public.
- Any material that disrespects the human dignity or offends people on the basis of caste, class, gender, race, religious affiliation, sexual and gender identities, or disabilities will be rejected.
- VLC also reserves the right to choose and accordingly edit any submission that does not meet its standards. We also reserve the right to add an editor’s note to any post to contextualise it for our audience, or take excerpts from the article and include them elsewhere.
- VLC offers sharing articles on our blog and social media platform as a service to our alumni. We trust that this will be a useful platform to share your experiences and contribute your writing.
